1956
Aisa France pioneered extruded plastic tube lines and developed the TV injection-heading technology, which later attained record speeds of 300 tubes per minute.
1966
Aisa Switzerland, initially manufacturing machines for aluminium tube production, developed the first SAESA® laminate tube production lines. These lines are compact, flexible and scalable up to 600 tubes per minute, the fastest tube-manufacturing lines in the world today.
1983
Designing PTH heading machines that employ compression moulding, Aisa brought the possibility of more flexibility to producers of extruded cosmetic tube, who required increasingly shorter runs and therefore more adaptability. By integrating our PTH heading machines with decoration and extrusion equipment from various partner the Plastomatic lines were born.
2007
With the development of cosmetic laminate tubes, the boundaries between laminate tubes (typically used for toothpaste) and extruded tubes (typically used for cosmetics) became blurred. Cosmetic laminate tubes offer label-quality printing and favour Decoseam™ edge-welding capabilities, such as 360° coverage. Consequently, equipment combinations featuring our market-leading PTH cosmetic tube headers and BM (Body Maker) side-seamers evolved into the Decoseam™ lines.
2017
In response to the ever-growing demand for new types of label decoration on extruded tubes, and for shorter runs and higher quality printing, Aisa offers launched a unique, innovative solution combining sleeve extrusion and label decoration. The Decoplas™ line.
