Versatile solutions for specialised packaging and products
Aisa’s technologies, Decoplas™, Bacomex™, and IPRA, are designed to meet diverse packaging and manufacturing needs.
From the precision of Decoplas™ silicone cartridges to the high-barrier properties of Bacomex™ moulded components and the sustainability of IPRA recycled vineyard stakes and pallets, our innovations are designed for superior performance, efficiency, and adaptability.
Decoplas™ technology utilised in an indexed injection heading line
Aisa’s cartridge production line integrates Decoplas™ extrusion labelling technology to manufacture cartridge cylinders with decorative label decoration. The dispensing end features a long applicator tip, precisely moulded using an indexed injection process, ensuring accurate dispensing.
Producing up to 120 pieces a minute, this high-speed line supports sleeve lengths that reach 215 mm. It’s perfect for industries needing custom, high-quality cartridges with advanced features and decoration.
Decoplas™ technology
Aisa’s Decoplas™ technology revolutionises tube manufacturing by combining standard plastic tube extrusion with innovative labeling techniques. This approach ensures 360° decoration using printed film, providing tubes with exceptional aesthetic appeal and functional performance. The technology also offers unmatched bounce-back properties, enhancing the durability and user experience of the final product.
Applications
Silicone Distribution Tubes: Robust, high-quality cartridges for dispensing silicone-based products, with precise extrusion and assembly for optimal functionality.
Bacomex™Compression Heading technology
Bacomex™ technology
Bacomex™’s multilayer compression moulding creates an effective barrier in the tube head, minimising oxygen permeation and preserving product quality. Using EVOH as a head barrier with polyethylene maintains the recyclability of the tube packaging within the HDPE recycling stream.
Applications
Using Bacomex™ in laminated and extruded tubes solves the problem of oxygen permeation through the moulded head. An EVOH barrier offers improved protection by significantly enhancing the packaging’s barrier properties for:
- Cosmetics and Personal Care products: Vitamin creams, hair dyes and retinol gels require protection from oxidation.
- Food Products: Fresh herbs, wasabi, sauces, and other oxygen-sensitive items.
- Pharmaceuticals: Ointments and medical gels needing protection against oxidative degradation.
The applications of Bacomex™ extend to many other packaging formats like coffee capsules, where a high-performance barrier is crucial for preserving aroma and freshness.
In short, Bacomex™ provides a sustainable way to improve the barrier properties of plastic packaging, thus better protecting sensitive products from oxygen.
IPRA™ technology
In collaboration with Replace, a French company at the forefront of circular economy initiatives, Aisa developed the IPRA recycling machine —an innovative solution designed to convert multi-component plastic waste, such as packaging tubes, into valuable new products in a single step, directly within the community.
Recycling becomes more efficient and sustainable through this groundbreaking method, which simplifies the process, lowers energy needs, and shortens transport distances.
Applications
Designed with sustainability at its core, the IPRA™ machine repurposes recycled materials into durable, high-value products such as vineyard stakes, benches, pallets, and more. Its innovative approach to eco-friendly manufacturing demonstrates a commitment to reducing plastic waste and promoting circular economy solutions.
