Cosmetic laminate tubes benefit from the industry’s leading label decoration possibilities applied to the laminate film. Our Decoseam™ technology is used to form and side seam weld this laminate into a tube while maintaining the printed surface intact.
Decoseam™ lines produce 360° decorated cosmetic tubes, including sleeve, cap, and shoulder orientation options for high-end laminate tubes.
They operate at speeds from 100 up to 240 tubes per minute and can handle diameters from 19mm to 63.5mm, including oval tubes. Decoseam™ lines support both Synchroflow™ compression heading and Saesa® component assembly for heading and capping.

Decoseam™ technology
Aisa’s unique technology is designed to handle asymmetric laminates, reinforcing the edge-welded structure with a thin strip band that protects the side seam along the entire tube length. Proven since its debut in 2007, this advanced technology delivers superior side seam performance while enabling exceptional decoration capabilities. It supports a wide range of laminates, including metallised PE and paperboard, making it perfectly suited to the cosmetic industry’s packaging requirements.

Aisa’s engineers designed Cosmetic Laminate Tube Lines to produce premium tubes tailored to the cosmetics and personal care industries. Cosmetic laminate tubes are multi-layered structures that combine flexibility, durability, and product protection, making them ideal for creams, gels, lotions, and other semi-liquid products. These tubes typically composed of an outer decorative layer, a barrier layer (often coated films or containing barrier plastics), and inner layers that prevent product interaction with the tube material.
With their high barrier properties, these tubes help preserve sensitive cosmetic formulas by shielding them from light, oxygen, and moisture. They also offer customisation options for shape, colour, texture, and printing, enabling brands to create appealing and functional packaging.
