The Smart Cap Orientation system introduces a revolutionary method of aligning caps on packaging tubes. Using a rotating mechanism, it positions the cap based on a detected mark that is either a color contrast, reflective pattern, protrusion, or recess.
The process includes :
- Optical and sensor feedback: Optical fibers and coders provide real-time data to a dedicated AI system.
- AI-Powered learning and adjustment: The system learns the cap’s external features through continual analysis, adjusting the orientation for optimal alignment.
- Mechanical precision: The final position is achieved using a servomotor, with the cap securely applied via pneumatic cylinder.
